Orientica XO Xclusif Oud Sport (frequently referred to simply as XO Sport) is an Extrait de Parfum released in 2022 by the luxury Middle Eastern house Orientica.
Despite the word "Sport" and the bright red accents on the box, the fragrance community agrees that this name is highly misleading. This is not a fresh gym scent. Instead, it is an extremely potent, warm, spicy, and sophisticated fragrance. Furthermore, despite being part of the Xclusif Oud line, it actually contains no oud note.
👃 Scent Profile & Inspiration (What does it smell like?)
XO Sport belongs to the Amber Spicy / Citrus Aromatic family. Fragrance enthusiasts frequently describe its DNA as a hybrid. It takes the sharp, aromatic, and slightly lavender/cypress texture found in upscale Parfums de Marly fragrances and blends it with the warm, airy, jasmine-and-saffron base popularized by Baccarat Rouge 540.
- Top Notes: Cypress, Saffron, Lavender, and Orange Blossom (creates a bold, heavy, and rich medicinal-aromatic opening).
- Middle Notes: Spices, Orange, Cedar, and Oakmoss (brings an earthy, spicy warmth).
- Base Notes: Tonka Bean, Amber, Jasmine, and Woody Notes (dries down into a dense, slightly sweet, resinous trail).
⚙️ "Beast Mode" Performance & Best Use
- Performance: Outstanding. Because it is an Extrait de Parfum (a high concentration of fragrance oils), it easily lasts 10 to 12+ hours on the skin and days on clothing.
- Projection: Very strong. It projects heavily for the first few hours and leaves a massive scent trail (sillage). A few sprays go a very long way.
- When to Wear: Avoid wearing this for actual sports, gyms, or high summer heat, as the heavy amber and spices can become cloying. It shines perfectly in night clubs, evening parties, colder weather (autumn/winter), or any setting where you want to make a loud, confident statement.
